Hans-Dieter Flick, popularly known as "Hansi" Flick, is set to return to FC Bayern Munich as coach, nearly three decades after his departure as a player. Flick, born on July 24, 1965, is a former German footballer and manager.

Since leaving Bayern as a player, Flick has been involved in coaching roles at various clubs, including the German national team and most recently at FC Bayern, where he served as assistant coach from 2014 to 2019.

Flick's return to Bayern comes after the club parted ways with previous coach Niko Kovac. Flick's appointment marks a significant milestone for the German club, as he is highly regarded within the football community for his tactical acumen and man-management skills.
