Background:
The Seeds of Salvation was originally released in Japan in 1988 under the title Dragon Warrior III, and was the third installment in the legendary Dragon Quest role-playing game series. It has seen a number of re-releases over the years on platforms such as the Game Boy and SNES.
Set and Story:
Dragon Quest III is set many years before the original Dragon Quest, in a world that bears a striking resemblance to the real world. The player takes on the role of a young hero who must travel the world and defeat the evil Baramos, who has stolen the Seeds of Salvation and plunged the world into darkness.
Re-release:
The Seeds of Salvation is now available on the Nintendo Switch, marking the first time the game has been released on a Nintendo console. This re-release features updated graphics and sound, as well as new features such as a dungeon editor and a monster medal system.
